May EQ New Release Updates!
The following features and fixes are now live in EQ.
1) Custom Default Email Messages for Proposals and PO’s
You can now set your own default email messages that automatically populate your emails when sending Proposals, Contracts or Purchase Orders to customers and suppliers. Just have your administrator put in the company’s desired custom email text in Setup/Organization Management here:
Then when you go to email Proposals, Contracts or Purchase Orders, that default message will show in the email (and you can edit it there as well).
2) Email Settings Overhaul
We have made changes and had your technical team make changes so that emails from EQ to your customers and suppliers will get through instead of being marked as SPAM at times. We’ve taken every measure possible to ensure it’s approved by all email systems.
3) Commission Earned Date
We’ve added the ability for you to determine (via workflow) when a Job has reach the “Commission Earned” milestone for salespeople. This will be utilized in other parts of EQ that are coming to help you track and pay commissions. But for now, you can pick a Workflow step, and identify it as the step that marks the Job as “Commission Earned”. I.E. when the job is pushed to a “Delivered” workflow step or similar one. Maybe that’s when you say the salesperson has earned the commission and it should be paid. Or maybe it’s a “Final Invoice” step.
4) Date Sold Column Added to Quotes/Orders List Columns
You can now see and add the “Date Sold” column to your Quotes/Orders List:
5) Upgraded Servers
We have moved all customers to new, upgraded servers for better performance and reliability.
6) Copy Installation Profile Rule (Duplicate)
You can now duplicate an installation profile rule, then just change the catalog or whatever you want on the new rule.
7) Proposal / Contract Change to “Grand Totals Only” Printouts
For all of the Proposals and Contracts that say “Grand Totals Only”, they have been changed to NOT show subtotals by room, or installation pricing, or summary pricing of any kind. Now they only show one grand total at the bottom of the Proposal or Contract as shown below. No other pricing will show on these.
8) Pick Ticket Changes – Added Delivery Info
On the bottom of the Pick Ticket, we’ve added the following section to document Stage, Load, and Delivery information:
9) Page Break Before Proposal / Contract Terms and Notes
You can now set your system to put a page break at the bottom of Proposals/Contracts BEFORE the contract text (notes and such) show. To do this, your administrator can change the setting in Setup/Organization Management.
10) Fix – Duplicate Tasks Being Created by Workflow
A bug that created multiple of the same task when workflow steps created them has been fixed.
