Ordering is where the cabinet business breaks. One order becomes five POs to four manufacturers, each with its own rules, and somebody re-types all of it into the vendor’s system — or into an email — and hopes it’s right. Equilibrium generates the POs for you, in the format each manufacturer wants, straight from the order. No rekeying, no missed lines, no “why did we get the wrong door.”
POs that follow each manufacturer’s rules
- Automatic PO creation. EQ splits an order into POs by doorstyle, color, room, or whatever rule that manufacturer requires — handling the thorny manufacturer ordering requirements so the PO is right the first time.
- By-room and by-doorstyle logic. Twenty cabinets across three rooms? Split them the way your manufacturer expects with one setting.
- Installer POs. Create a purchase order for each installer with specialized instructions, then email the PO and supporting documents to the installer — right from EQ.

Acknowledgements, receiving, and delivery — tracked
- Order acknowledgements with estimated ship dates, so scheduling isn’t guesswork.
- Receiving. Mark POs partially or fully received, including into specific bin locations that then print on the pick ticket so the warehouse knows where to look.
- Delivery. Mark sales orders delivered and keep the whole chain visible.
Service and warranty, handled like real orders
Create chargeable and non-chargeable service and warranty orders in the same system — because the job doesn’t end at delivery, and neither should your visibility into it.
