Two major performance improvements have been implemented in EQ.
History Slow Down
Previously, the more history that built up over time on a Quote or Order the performance of the Order would slow down. Whether it was pricing the Order, or adding or editing line items, it would be slower with more history. History has been re-done so that it does not slow down when there are a lot of history lines.
Purchase Order Creation
If you tried to create a bunch of Purchase Orders at once, or use a PO rule that would break out the cabinets on multiple POs, the Order would sometimes slow down or lock up. The Purchasing module has been revamped so that it’s MUCH faster and does not lock up with a large quantity of PO’s created or rules used.
Larger Dealers will noticed the improvements more than smaller dealers, but everyone should see better performance in these 2 scenarios.
